A potential definition of 'Resilience Engineering'

Yu et al define 'Resilience Engineering' as a field of study that is concerned with how organisations can better manage sociotechnical systems to deal with change and disruption.  Reference:  Yu, D.J. et al, Toward General Principles for Resilience Engineering, in Risk Analysis, Vol.40, No. 8, 2020, p1511.
